Street fair the place for great local goods
The Caloundra Street Fair, formerly known as the Bulcock Street Markets Caloundra, is the perfect market to visit when looking for the freshest produce and locally made products. There are 255 stalls every Sunday.
"We do have local farmers growing there own produce represented in the market, and then a range of artisans who are making their own products and bringing them along" event manager Jade Baker said. "These people range in age and background. We have mumpreneurs, mums who supplement their income and use their creative ability to establish more business that way. Emerging businesses, people who are launching new products and new ranges". There are t-shirts from the T-Shirt Dude, who is well known on the Sunshine Coast, a range of artists including Lisa Green, Lindy Longhurst, Julia Jones and a live art group called Artsomble. There is also a range of jewellery and fashion items made on the Sunshine Coast including soaps, leather work and mangos.
Catch the Caloundra Street Fair every Sunday between 8am and 1pm on Bulcock Street Caloundra.
