The presenters that stayed with you were absolutely delighted with the facilities, rooms and staff at Rumba and all said they were disappointed they only had a couple of days to stay, however they will return.

I would like to say that I absolutely enjoyed my stay with Rumba Resort. I wish my stay could have been longer. I will have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Rumba Resort to my family, friends and work colleagues. I hope to return in the summer, and stay a little longer than 2 nights.

Even though I didn't make full use of the resort's facilities, I enjoyed the convenient locations of the Hog's Breath Cafe, Pennyfarthing Inn and the convenience store. If I ever need accommodation in Caloundra in the future, I will certainly book a room at the Rumba Resort.

I know our family has had a great holiday when my teenager and four year old ask the same question. When can we go back mum?

We stayed just before Christmas and had planned one night with the children and one night for us. It worked out better than we could have imagined. We couldn’t fault a thing. Ample parking, easy friendly check in, a modern well appointed apartment with stunning views over the water, convenient and various dinning options just down stairs, professional discrete staff and the amazing swimming pools made this a fail proof weekend for our family. On our first night there was even a market in the street with vendors, music and a jumping castle. Our four year old was so excited and the teenager just couldn’t wait to wake up and go surfing in the morning. The second night we enjoyed a rare meal together and a moonlit stroll along the beach. As I sat sipping Champaign entrapped by the sun slipping down over the Glass House Mountains I recall thinking how this weekend has created a wonderful memory for our family. This was a feeling I just can’t put into words and still brings a tear of happiness to my eye. It was the best birthday gift a mother could ask for.

Thank you for making it so memorable. We’ll be back. We have no choice. The lobbying from the children is wearing us down…we need another break!
