Australian Tourism Export Council
ATEC was formed in 1972 as the Australian Incoming Tour Operators Association, which later became the Australian Tourism Export Council in 2000 to reflect the growing supplier membership and the $26 billion annual contribution our members make to the nation’s export economy.
As the peak industry body representing the tourism export sector, ATEC works closely with federal and state/territory governments and marketing bodies. The national office and nine branches Australia-wide are committed to promoting industry growth at a grassroots level in order to maximise our members’ success. Rumba Beach Resort has been a proud member of ATEC since 2011 and a regular attendee at ATEC Symposium.
